The crew you’ll see at your door in Dallas isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. We’re a small, steady group of technicians and installers who’ve worked together long enough to know each other’s habits, shortcuts, and standards. Most of us live within 20 minutes of the neighborhoods we serve, from Lake Highlands to Bishop Arts to Far North Dallas. What unites us is simple: we write the price down before we start, we put the guarantee in writing before we leave, and we answer the phone when you call, even at 2 a.m. in August.

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Service Technician
Marcus has been turning wrenches on residential HVAC equipment since 2008, and he’s been with Cold Harbour Heating and Air Dallas for the last nine years. He holds his EPA 608 Universal certification and has factory training on Trane, Carrier, and Lennox systems. The guy can diagnose a failing reversing valve on a heat pump in about the time it takes most people to find the thermostat manual. When he’s not tracing refrigerant lines, Marcus is rebuilding a 1972 Chevy C10 in his garage in Mesquite. He insists the truck’s AC will work someday, and the rest of us have learned not to argue about it.
Renee S. – Senior Installer
Renee leads our AC installation and replacement work across Dallas, and she’s the reason our installs come out clean. With 12 years in the trade and NATE certification in air conditioning installation, she treats every attic and closet space like it’s her own house. She specializes in retrofitting older Dallas homes, the ones with tight hallway closets and air handlers wedged into spaces that were never designed for modern equipment. Renee grew up in Oak Cliff and still lives there. On weekends she volunteers at a community garden, which tracks, because she’s the most patient person on the crew.
Daryl W. – Service Coordinator
Daryl is the voice you hear when you call (430) 213-5796 at any hour. He’s been coordinating service calls in the DFW metroplex since 2015 and has a near-photographic memory for addresses, gate codes, and which units have dogs. Daryl keeps the dispatch board running and makes sure the right technician with the right parts shows up in the window we give. He’s also the one Victor calls when a July heat wave has every AC in Dallas limping at once. Outside of work, Daryl coaches his daughter’s youth basketball team in Richardson and takes the sport way too seriously.
Carlos M. – Apprentice Technician
Carlos is our newest team member and the one you’ll often see shadowing Marcus on service calls. He joined Cold Harbour Heating and Air Dallas in 2024 after completing his HVAC training at a local trade program, and he’s working toward his full EPA certification. Carlos grew up in Garland and speaks fluent Spanish, which helps on calls where the homeowner is more comfortable talking through a problem in their first language. He’s the first one to volunteer for the worst August attic jobs, partly because he wants to learn and partly because he claims the heat doesn’t bother him. Nobody believes the second part.
One Standard, Every Job
We’re part of the Kingswell network, a group of independently owned and operated HVAC companies that share the same written standards. That means something specific in Dallas. It means the price you get in writing before the work starts doesn’t change at the door. It means the 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every repair, every time: if the fix fails within a full year, we come back and correct it at no charge, and that guarantee is on paper before the technician leaves. It means we follow The Kingswell Way on every single call: say the price before the work, show up in the window given, leave the place cleaner than found, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. No exceptions, no fine print, no “that was a different crew.” The same standard, whether it’s Marcus replacing a capacitor on a Saturday, Renee installing a full system in a three-story townhouse, or Carlos holding the flashlight in a 140-degree attic.
