Most HVAC work hides in attics, closets, and behind sheet metal. You don’t see it until something fails. That’s why we photograph what we find and what we leave behind. A picture of a rusted blower wheel next to the clean replacement tells you more about a company than any tagline. Here’s the work itself, straight from Dallas jobs.

AC Repair: Failed Capacitor on a 105-Degree Day in Lakewood
A Lakewood homeowner called at 4 p.m. on a Saturday in July. The outdoor unit was humming but the fan wouldn’t spin. The capacitor, the small cylinder that gives the compressor and fan their starting jolt, had swollen and split. We showed the homeowner the failed part next to the new one before installing it. The system was cooling again before the sun went down, and the repair is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise.
Furnace Repair: Cracked Igniter in a Preston Hollow Home
In December, a Preston Hollow family woke up to a cold house. The furnace would click but never light. The igniter, the part that glows hot enough to start the burners, had a hairline crack and couldn’t reach temperature. In Dallas, furnace igniters fail most often during the first cold snap after a long idle summer. We replaced it, tested the full heating cycle, and wrote the price down before the first tool came out.
AC Installation: Replacing a 22-Year-Old R-22 System in Mesquite
A Mesquite homeowner had been nursing a 2001-era R-22 system with yearly refrigerant top-offs. The compressor finally gave out in August. The old unit was rusted through at the base, and the evaporator coil above the furnace was leaking. We removed the entire system, installed a new matched condenser and coil, and had the home cooling again in one day. The old refrigerant was recovered and handled per EPA rules, and the new system carries the manufacturer’s parts warranty plus our workmanship guarantee.
AC Repair: Blower Motor Replacement in a Far North Dallas Condo
In a Far North Dallas condo, the air handler ran constantly but barely moved air. The blower motor bearings had worn out, and the wheel was coated with a decade of fine dust. That dust load forces the motor to work harder, which shortens its life and raises cooling bills. We pulled the old assembly, replaced the motor and wheel, and balanced everything before reinstalling. The airflow difference was immediate, and the new motor runs quieter than the old one ever did.
Furnace Repair: Flame Sensor Cleaning and Burner Service in Richardson
A Richardson customer reported the furnace lighting, running for a few seconds, and shutting down. That’s the classic flame sensor signature. The sensor, a small metal rod that confirms the burners actually ignited, was coated in carbon buildup and couldn’t detect the flame, so the control board shut the gas off as a safety measure. We removed it, cleaned it with a non-abrasive pad, checked the burners, and confirmed proper flame signal. The furnace held heat, and the customer paid a standard diagnostic and service fee, not a parts replacement charge.
AC Installation: Heat Pump Upgrade for a Garland Home
A Garland homeowner wanted to replace an aging straight-cool AC unit with a heat pump for more efficient winters. The old condenser sat on a pad that had settled and tilted over 18 years. We poured a new level pad, ran new line sets, installed a matched air handler, and wired the thermostat to control both heating and cooling. The homeowner now heats and cools from one system, and the written installation quote we provided before starting matched the final invoice to the dollar.
